Capter
Install without guesswork.
The first-run path is intentionally short: choose an installer, place the app correctly, then approve screen recording.
- Open the DMG or PKG you downloaded from the release page.
- Install or move Capter into /Applications before the first launch.
- When macOS prompts for Screen Recording, enable Capter and relaunch once.
Why this permission exists
Capter captures screenshots, longshots and GIF recordings locally. Screen Recording permission is the system gate that allows those workflows.
